About Nicholas Hui

Although I have clients all across Canada, I am based in Markham, Ontario where I live with my wife and three children. I spend most of my evenings coaching and managing my kid’s soccer teams. We are big sports fans and have season tickets to both the Raptors and the Blue Jays. Having been born and raised in Vancouver, I cannot cheer for the Leafs and continue to root for the Vancouver Canucks.

I am a CFP® (Certified Financial Planner®) and hold the TEP (Trust and Estate Practitioner) designation. I also am a Professional Engineer of Ontario and graduated with an MBA from the Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario).

WHAT IS VA/VE?

With over 14 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry as an engineer, I implemented Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) programs to reduce costs and increase efficiency for manufacturers. I now bring the same VA/VE approach towards financial planning to help families and individuals organize and optimize their financial lives.
